One of my images that shows a fast shutter speed is the one of the girl stepping off of the platform and grabbing the tree. For a shutter speed for this image, I used about 1/1000. I froze the image of her about to step off of he platform, and on to the ground. My pint of view was straight on and I captured her on the right side of the image. I was fairly close up while taking this photo; about arms distance away. To strengthen the photo, it is in black and white(positive and negative space), and there is shadows from the tree in the background. The rule of thirds is also used.
The image of the girl doing a cartwheel is a slow shutter speed. For a shutter speed I used 1/15. The part of the image showing blur is her legs , while they are rotating in a cartwheel, and her arm as it is about to be picked up off of the ground. For this photo I was also fairly close up, about arms distance away. This photo is set in black and white (uses positive and negative space), and shows pattern, line, and shape in the background. All of those elements strengthen the photo.
